This statue exemplifies and honors the adversity, determination, diversity, and triumph the people of Enterprise and Coffee County faced more than 100 years ago. WebThe boll weevil is a cotton pest. It destroys cotton crops. Enterprise has a rather large statue of one smack in the middle of town. They celebrate the boll weevil with a passion not shared by literally anywhere else. Ever. Only Enterprise loves the boll weevil, but Enterprise really really loves the boll weevil.
