You only need to take control of quina or amarant to cast auto life whenever someone is down, but even so, they wont go down often. WebIt's more efficient overall to use an 8 slot with normal growth than Scimitar's 2 triple slots. Apocalypse is more efficient with its 3 triple slots. I spared 1 slot for an EXP Up materia and do the level 99 trophy during the same grind. I used the W-Item glitch to knock out the magic pots I needed.
