WebI'd have to look at my records, but basically I went with a steel flywheel at about 15 lbs. Steel or aluminum, 15 lbs is 15 lbs. I went steel for the durability. Unless you're racing, hard, you're not going to generate enough heat to need aluminum, and you don't want something so malleable if you're not willing to put in the maintenance.
