They normally fight infection. They can be found in lymph tissue all over the body, such as in the spleen, tonsils, intestines, and skin. WebMycosis fungoides (my-KOH-sis fun-GOY-deez) is a disease of the T-cell lymphocytes (white blood cells). With this condition, the T-cells become malignant (cancerous) and affect your skin. Healthcare providers classify mycosis fungoides as a cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that occurs in T-cells in the skin.
